Our farm, animal and land acquisitions are done with a future view in mind of creating a world-class commercial farming operation. Our portfolio includes:

Game Farms –

We own numerous properties totaling over 1100 hectares in the Broederstroom and Lanseria area where we concentrate on indigenous game farming with a view to commercialize and one day contribute to the tourism industry. Our game farms also supply our very own Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve with game animals for the delight of our safari-going customers. Our species include, but are not limited to: Eland, Gemsbok/Oryx, Zebra, Giraffe, Red Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Blue Wildebeest, Blesbok, Impala, Duiker and Steenbok.

Organic Livestock Farms –

BG Agriculture has acquired and maintains large herds of cattle, goats and sheep on over 1000 hectares of domestic farming land throughout the Magaliesburg and Heidelberg areas.

Equine Farm –

In addition to our game and domestic herds, the company owns a harras of horses of different breeds.

Organic Fruit & Vegetable Farms –

The company wishes to expand our operation in the future to large-scale commercial farming of fruit and vegetables. We are in the process of setting up Pecan nut, Prickly Pear and other vegetable farming on a small scale.

Tree Farm –

In this day and age where our forests are under destruction, BG Agriculture has invested in our own tree farm that currently has over 16 000 indigenous trees which supplies all our farms and properties. Sustainability is in the core of everything we do.

BG Wine Estate –

Another jewel in our property crown is a privately-owned winery and estate. This winery may be commercialized in the future which will add even greater value to our portfolio.
